Bill Pulte shows the way

Bill Pulte has come up with a way to develop a Zion society, at least in terms of economics. He's giving away money through twitter to people in real need.

It's a direct approach, far more effective than government bureaucracy and taxation.

Scott Adams had a great interview with Bill.

Of course, Pulte inherited a huge fortune. but he's right. If most of the super wealthy had a system for sharing their wealth, and found deserving people, we would be approaching the ideals of Zion.

Are there any LDS millionaires or billionaires who do this?

Adorning of temples

The temples are beautiful, but here's something to think about.

Mormon 8:37,39

37 For behold, ye do love amoney, and your substance, and your fine apparel, and the adorning of your churches, more than ye love the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted.

4 Nephi 1:41

41 And they did still continue to build up churches unto themselves, and adorn them with all manner of precious things. And thus did two hundred and fifty years pass away, and also two hundred and sixty years.

The temple's exterior is granite with decorative glazing. The interior includes Italian granite and chandeliers made in Verona, Spanish marble, African wood and American stained-glass art.
